Today, the Soviet and Russian choreographer, ballet master of the Bolshoi Theatre, and teacher Yuri Grigorovich has passed away. He was 98 years old.
Throughout his prolific career, Yuri Nikolaevich trained generations of dancers and was the one who once again raised the bar of Russian ballet to the heavens.
Rest in peace, dear Maestro. We bow low in gratitude for all you have given to humanity and to the majesty of ballet.
