We are excited to share an important announcement!
It is a great honor for us to present the extraordinary and highly promising American ballerina Yuwei (Betty) Pan, #Foundation_Ambassador, born on March 16, 2008.
She is an aspiring ballerina currently studying in the 7th grade at the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet. Betty only began training seriously in ballet at the age of 12, discovering her passion for this incredibly challenging yet beautiful art form.
Betty began her first ballet training at Lee’s Ballet Studio in Los Angeles, California. From the age of 12, she dedicated herself daily to achieving excellence in order to turn her dream into reality. She progressed rapidly, and by the age of 14, with only two years of professional training, she had already won numerous competitions, including 1st Place at the Youth Grand Festival, 1st Place at the University of British Columbia competition, as well as multiple scholarships to schools around the world. She also received an invitation to the prestigious Moscow International Ballet Competition 2022 (though she was unable to participate due to the political situation). At that same age, she earned a one-year scholarship to the John Cranko School in Stuttgart, Germany, where she studied for two years under the guidance of Maria Eichwald. She became one of the top students in her class and was even given the opportunity to work with the Stuttgart Ballet.
However, this was not enough for Betty. She dreamed of becoming the number one star. At the age of 16, she left the John Cranko School and began competing again, winning 1st Place at YAGP, 1st Place and the Legacy Award at UBC, the Grand Prix at YAGP, 1st Place at ADCIBC, 1st Place at California Dance Classics, as well as an Artistic Excellence Scholarship, while also becoming a YAGP finalist. She has also performed in numerous YAGP gala performances. Betty is already highly sought after by renowned ballet brands.
In 2025, she fulfilled her long-awaited dream by being accepted into the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet. Although she is a first-year international student, she has already been given many opportunities to perform with the academy. She performed in The Nutcracker with the academy on the grand stage of the Mariinsky Theatre and has even toured internationally with the academy around the world.
Betty trains tirelessly every day at the Vaganova Academy, striving to achieve her dream of becoming a professional ballerina.
At this moment, we are open to collaborations with this incredibly talented American-Chinese ballerina, who is destined to win the hearts of international audiences very soon.
