On June 20 and 21, the Grand Hall stage will host the ballet The Sleeping Beauty!
The Sleeping Beauty is a true masterpiece by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, remarkable for its emotional depth, artistic brilliance, and rich palette of colors. The ballet’s magnificent musical score is built upon the contrast between two themes – the Lilac Fairy and the Fairy Carabosse, symbolizing the eternal struggle between Good and Evil.
At Astana Opera, The Sleeping Beauty will not be presented as a simple children’s tale or light entertainment, but rather as a soulful poetic work, fully resonant with Tchaikovsky’s music.
