On October 25, 2025, students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography will perform on the stage of the Dance Theatre at the Beijing Dance Academy as part of the exclusive showcase “Beauty and Harmony: Global Exchange in Dance Education.”

The concert is held at the invitation of the Beijing Dance Academy with the support of the World Dance Education Alliance (WDEA), of which the Academy is a member. The Alliance unites 70 leading choreography institutions from 38 countries across five continents.

During the showcase, the students will perform the Pas de Deux of Aurora and Désiré from P. I. Tchaikovsky’s “Sleeping Beauty”, choreographed by Marius Petipa. The piece was prepared under the guidance of Svetlana Kokshinova, a faculty member of the Academy.

The event program also includes international master classes conducted by renowned choreographers from around the world. The Beijing Dance Academy carried out a competitive selection among students of member institutions, and the Kazakh representatives were among the best, receiving a special invitation to perform.

The students’ preparation was supervised by Altynai Asylmuratova, Artistic Director of the Academy, under whose guidance they refined their professional technique.

The trip became possible thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the sponsorship of CNPC and PetroKazakhstan.
