On May 19, 2025, the Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Abay will host the graduation performance of the 79th class of the Almaty Choreographic School named after Alexander Seleznev.

An exciting and diverse program awaits the audience that evening:
🎼 “Chopiniana” — refined classical ballet filled with poetry and lyricism
🎭 Variations and pas de deux from the classical ballet repertoire
🌍 Vibrant folk dances
🕊 Contemporary choreography — a reflection of the spirit of the times
✨ The evening will conclude with the Polovtsian Dances from the opera “Prince Igor”, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of choreographer Zaurbek Raibayev.
