By the Decree of the Head of State, Asel Zhanassova has been appointed Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She has been relieved of her previously held position.

She was born in 1987 in Almaty and graduated from the University of Cambridge.

She began her career in 2010 as an IT specialist at the Production Automation and Communications Department of ENRC Kazakhstan.

From 2016 to 2017 – Chairperson of the Management Board of “NIH Zerde” JSC.

From 2018 to 2020 – Managing Director for Digital Technologies at the Astana International Financial Centre.

Since 2020 – Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan.

Since October 2022 – Chairperson of the Management Board of “Kazpost” JSC.

Since June 2025 – Appointed Advisor to the President of Kazakhstan.
