From April 28 to May 2, 2025, Ankara hosted the International Festival of State Ballet and Choreographic Educational Institutions of the Turkic World, “Ankara.” The event was organized by the International Organization of Turkic Culture, TURKSOY, in cooperation with Hacettepe University.

The festival served as a significant platform for strengthening cultural ties and sharing professional experiences among the countries of the Turkic world. As part of the event, the second meeting of the heads of leading choreographic educational institutions from Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan was held. Additionally, master classes were organized for students and festival participants.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Sayit Yusuf, Deputy Secretary General of TURKSOY, the Vice-Rector of Hacettepe University, and the Rector of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography. Following the meeting, it was decided to launch an academic mobility program for faculty and students in the 2026–2027 academic year.
