TÜRKSOY, which continues its activities to strengthen the cultural ties of the Turkic world and promote its shared heritage globally, honored outstanding figures of the arts at a ceremony held in Astana. The People’s Artist of Kazakhstan Dimash Kudaibergen received TÜRKSOY’s highest award, the “Cultural Ambassador of the Turkic World” insignia, for his exceptional contribution to the development of Turkic world culture. Meanwhile, renowned film actress Samal Yeslyamova was presented with the “Best Artist of the Turkic World” award.
