Cultural Legacy Fund and Dili, together with their partners, present the major annual arts festival "MIRA", to be held in Xi’an in the summer of 2025.
The festival will feature stars of classical music from both global and Kazakhstani stages. Ballet dancers, opera singers, grand productions, and artworks will be showcased during the festival.
The event is dedicated to the culture of the East and Asia, which continues to inspire with its richness and abundance.
The grand opening will take place on June 25 at the Shaanxi Grand Theatre in Xi’an. In the first ten days, audiences will enjoy symphonic concerts by the Karaganda Orchestra and gala ballet evenings featuring soloists from Kazakhstan’s opera and ballet theatres.
The second part of the festival will be held at the end of June, and the third in August. The program will include timeless masterpieces such as Verdi’s "La Traviata", Puccini’s "Turandot" staged by AstanaOpera, the ballet "Swan Lake" with soloists from AstanaOpera, and much more.
The festival will also host various seminars, gala dinners, and networking events.
The "MIRA" Festival aims to develop and promote timeless, high art on the global stage for people of all backgrounds and nationalities. It is a contribution to strengthening cultural relations between nations.
