On December 13, three years marked the passing of Bulat Gazizovich Ayukhanov. The theater company honored the bright memory of the outstanding master, a luminary of Kazakh ballet — Bulat Ayukhanov, People’s Artist of the Kazakh SSR, laureate of state and international awards, founder and long-time artistic director of the theater.

The theater staff visited his grave, where the Master’s memory was honored with a prayer and a minute of silence. A memorial meal was held for the ballet artists, during which sincere words were spoken by students and colleagues — warm memories, the Teacher’s guidance, and words of gratitude and appreciation.

The theater director, Utegenov Zhanybek Toleutayevich, addressed the gathering with words of remembrance and respect, noting Bulat Ayukhanov’s invaluable contribution to the development of national ballet and the formation of entire generations of artists.

The theater company expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the management for organizing this commemorative day, for their care, support, and the respectful preservation of the memory of the great Master. The bright memory of Bulat Ayukhanov will forever remain in the history of the theater and in our hearts.
