Today, on May 20, the opening ceremony of the national scientific and creative competition “Abish Readings” took place at the Mangystau Regional Musical Drama Theater named after N. Zhanturin in Aktau. The event is dedicated to the work of Abish Kekilbayuly, a towering figure of national spirituality.

At the ceremony, Deputy Akim of Mangystau Region, A. Orisbayev, delivered a congratulatory speech and wished success to the young talents who carry the hopes of the nation.

This year, 158 students from 20 regions of Kazakhstan are participating in the competition. Over the course of two days, the participants will explore the rich spiritual legacy of Abish Kekilbayuly and take part in various creative and scientific contests.
