On October 29, 30, and 31, the ballet “Notre-Dame de Paris” by Maurice Jarre, staged by Roland Petit, was performed with great success on the Main Stage of Astana Opera.
For three consecutive days, the hall was completely full — each evening the performance played to a sold-out audience and was met with warm admiration and heartfelt applause.
The production’s plastic artistry, deep dramatic content, and grand scale left no one indifferent. The theater’s ballet dancers, orchestra, choir, and mimes authentically conveyed the power and tragedy of this great work, creating a truly captivating scene on stage.
