oday, the Kazakh Cultural Center officially opened in Beijing — an event that President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev rightly described as an important step in strengthening the spiritual ties between our nations.
The Head of State emphasized that culture and art serve as a solid bridge uniting countries through mutual respect and creativity. A year ago, a branch of Beijing Language and Culture University began operating in Astana, and now, within the framework of this visit, the Luban Workshops have also been launched. All these initiatives are part of a large-scale cultural and educational dialogue that makes our cooperation systemic and long-term.
Tokayev stressed that Kazakhstan and China have entered a “second golden thirty years” of partnership. And these are not just beautiful words — the dynamics of high-level meetings, the growth of investments, and now active cultural exchange confirm this in practice.
The Cultural Center in Beijing will become a platform for promoting Kazakh heritage, for dialogue among young people, for exchanging ideas and developing joint projects. Spirituality reflects the way of life of a nation, and strengthening it is the best way to bring societies closer together.
This is how Kazakhstan’s true “soft power” manifests itself — when our voice is heard and understood through culture, education, and respect for traditions.
Respectfully,
Impresario,
President of the Cultural Legacy Fund,
