The leading Kazakh ballet company, Astana Opera, completed its first training block from October 18 to 30 with the outstanding French ballerina Chantal Lefèvre.

Chantal Lefèvre built a brilliant career as a ballerina and later taught various levels of classical dance technique at the Hamburg Ballet School. For about ten years, she worked as a ballet master and teacher at the Vienna State Opera and Ballet. She is regularly invited to conduct master classes with the Shanghai Ballet Company and has collaborated as a pedagogue with La Scala Theatre in Milan, the Ballet am Rhein (Düsseldorf, Germany), the major State Conservatory of Istanbul University, as well as other international companies.
