On March 30, the stage of the Training Theater at the A. Seleznev Almaty Choreographic School hosted the grand opening and the draw for the participants of the IX International Competition of Choreographic Educational Institutions "ӨРЛЕУ."

The competition will feature 130 talented performers from 8 countries: Russia, South Korea, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.

The contests will take place at three venues in Almaty: the Training Theater of the A. Seleznev Almaty Choreographic School, Almaty Theatre, and will culminate in a gala concert of the laureates at the stage of the Abai Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theatre.
