Zhiengaliyeva Ardak Kanatbekovna – pediatrician, second-year PhD candidate, senior lecturer at the Department of Normal Physiology of NAO "Astana Medical University."
A great admirer of high art. A regular attendee of the Astana Opera and Astana Ballet theaters.
Damira Sabirovna Tajibayeva – Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, and Head of the Department of Pathological Physiology named after V.G. Korpachev at NAO "Astana Medical University." A person who has dedicated her life to teaching the art of healing to future doctors. An admirer of high art who inspires even greater love and devotion to our artists.
On January 18, 2025, together with my teacher, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, and Head of the Department of Pathological Physiology named after V.G. Korpachev, Damira Sabirovna Tajibayeva, we witnessed the sublime and eternal art of the ballet Swan Lake. This performance featured the prima ballerina of the Astana Opera Theater, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, Aigerim Beketayeva, and the talented Dias Kurmangazy.
The ballet Swan Lake is a masterpiece of sublime and eternal art. Time and again, the events on stage evoke deep emotions: reverence, tenderness, boundless love, awe, and admiration. On January 18, 2025, Aigerim Beketayeva, the world’s best ballerina and Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, performed the roles of Odette and Odile on the stage of the Astana Opera Theater. She possesses not only immense talent but also an extraordinary dedication and devotion to the art of ballet. For her, dance is not merely a technique but the philosophy of her life, her very soul.
Today, it’s not about the dance itself, nor about the ballerina's virtuosity or spirituality, but about the chills, astonishment, tears, and delight we—followers of Terpsichore—felt during every moment of the performance. Oh! This is art that elevates you to the heavens and gives the sensation of being surrounded by everything true and grand.
Aigerim Beketayeva is a ballerina of another dimension, a genius of Kazakh ballet! She is completely absorbed in her dance; her movements are seamless, never ending, but gradually fade and dissolve into the air, reflecting the inner life of her characters. Together with her, we experience all the nuances of their moods, the subtle and unconscious stirrings of their souls.
It is remarkable how the roles of Odette and Odile, as performed by Aigerim Beketayeva, are always perceived differently. From performance to performance, they are refined and imbued with profound meaning, thanks to the genius and meticulous work of our beloved ballerina.
Her partner in the role of Siegfried was the brilliant and immensely talented Dias Kurmangazy. The magical fluidity of his movements, his soaring leaps, and the joy in his dance, along with his graceful turns, embodied the genuine love of the young prince, breaking the evil spell.
Thank you to all the ballet troupe artists for showcasing polished, flawless mastery. Thank you for bringing life to the dance!
