The scientific-practical international conference titled "TURAN Ensemble — A Phenomenon in Turkic Musical Culture" has successfully concluded!

The event brought together leading scholars, art researchers, educators, master's and doctoral students, and undergraduates from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Tatarstan, Russia, the USA, Taiwan, and other countries.

The conference thoroughly examined the shared musical codes of Turkic peoples, their transformation within the modern ethno-cultural space, as well as the TURAN ensemble’s contribution to these processes and its musical heritage.

The research covered a wide range of topics — from the performance characteristics of TURAN to the ensemble’s influence on music, theatre, cinema, choreography, national costume, pedagogy, and management, as well as its role in intercultural communication.
