During the New Year holidays, Astana Opera will present T. Koçak’s ballet “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” This is a perfect opportunity to spend quality time with your children.

The Brothers Grimm fairy tale “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” is probably known to all children. It is the story of a beautiful orphan princess and her evil stepmother, who constantly asks her magic mirror who is the fairest of them all. Jealousy of the grown-up Snow White drives the queen to commit a cruel deed — she orders a servant to kill the girl in the forest, but the princess manages to find shelter in the house of the dwarfs. Who will save Snow White from her stepmother’s persecution, and how, young (and adult) audiences will discover in this ballet-fairy tale about good and evil, innocence, purity, and true love.
